I am sitting here at 10:30 PM Wednesday night and it is 80+ degrees here in Rwanda. The only reason I am not complaining is because of what our team is experiencing while here in Africa.
It is one of the most humbling things to see God at work in I have ever been involved with. Whether it was in Ahero, Kissi or Narok the last few days we met with 100’s pastors and church leaders who are experiencing true “Holistic Transformation.” Most of these dear people in the villages have never been exposed to biblical Christianity friends. What is so exciting is to see them understand who God is and the plan He has for their life.
From the spiritual growth to the economic empowerment to the children’s mentoring and discipleship, change is taking place for God’s glory right before their eyes.
Tonight we flew into Rwanda (the newest country PA is involved with starting one year ago) and our two young staff members met us at the airport. We will have 66+ pastor leaders from the villages at our training bright and early tomorrow morning where I and Brandon will be speaking to them on their personal walk with the Lord. Please pray with us about this. We are both very excited about this opportunity.
Friends, one of the things that has really struck me while on this trip is that God is doing a great work in many areas of the globe as well as right in our own back yards. What a humbling honor it is to join Him in what He is doing using our talents, abilities and gifts for His glory. There is no greater way to spend our life!
Did I say it is hot in Africa yet? I am trying not to complain, but…….it’s 80+ with that much humidity at this time of night. So glad you are praying for our team.
Striving together for His glory,
