One person said this week, “We really should celebrate “Easter” every day!” Now that would be nice! Each day understanding the “hope, the victory, the forgiveness, the deliverance from darkness to light, the freedom that is ours in and through Jesus Christ……Now that is something to think about daily for sure.
But, if your anything like I am, the “to do list,” will often get in the way, we will get bogged down with the cares and concerns of life and all to often forget what Christ has done for us and try to handle life’s situations ourselves.
He took the penalty we rightfully should have paid upon Himself, out of love for each of us and went to the cross in our place………. Victory over our sin and immanent death freely given by the grace and mercy of our Lord.
I spent four minutes this week and listened to a favorite on U Tube entitled “That’s my King” by Dr. S.M. Lockridge…….take a moment in the busyness of life and be reminded of who the King of Glory is for each of us. WOW!!!!
Christian friends, Farrol and I wish each of you a blessed Easter, now and each day He gives us. The cross is empty and the tomb is vacant…..
“But thanks be to God who has given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore my beloved brethren be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. Knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Cor. 15).
Striving together for His glory,
