How do you define “Success?” The World would want us to believe that “Success” is when you have a good amount of money in the bank, a big home with a two or three car garage. We are told the really “Successful” people are leaders of companies, they have a lot of prestige and power and the admiration of many.
Friends, I don’t believe that is God’s definition of “Success” at all.
I believe Jesus defined “Success” quite different by the life that He lived and the words He taught us. Look at a summary of His life, “Success, means much more than making a living. It means making a life that honors God and serves others” (Mark 10:44-45).
I like what one writer said about “Success” when he said, “It is striving each day to do your best at honoring God with ones character, speech and thought life all the while helping others be all God created them to be for Christ’s glory.”
Let’s don’t fall into the trap of letting the World define “Success” for us, instead let Christ’s model and the model of other great men and women of the faith set the tone for true and lasting “Success” as pleases God. He will truly be the final judge of all!
Have a “Success” driven day friends,
