Dear Friends,

There are a number of things that distinguish us from one another. Male, Female, Democrat, Republican or Independent, Artist, Athlete, Musician, Young, Not so Young, you get the point.

As a Christ follower who desires to make a “difference” for His glory there are three thoughts that I need to distinguish us:

1. Men & Women of the Word. His truth, guides, gives wisdom to, directs, inspires, convicts, bring comfort and encouragement and most significantly His Word gives life to all who believe.

2. Men & Women of Prayer. Our dependence on Him to do great and mighty things that we can’t imagine is totally dependent on our prayer life.

3. Men & Women of Faith. Trusting that He is much more interested in our children walking with the Lord than we are. Believing that God wants to use little ole us to do beyond we ask or think if we will just believe Him by faith. Faith, is the “Assurance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” Faith, separates so many Christ followers from just existing to being and doing what He has set for us to do.

In the OT David had his “Mighty men of valor” (1 Chronicles 12). In the New Testament we as Christ followers are marked as “Men and Women of Valor” by the Word of God in us that is lived through us, the Prayer of our heart and the Faith to accomplish His will for His glory for our life.

No greater honor than to be a part of His Family in this day and age.

Striving together for His glory,
