GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE
We will be joining other local churches for a Good Friday service at
 the Buffalo County Expo Building on April 19th at 7pm.

We want to welcome our new Lead Pastor Joel Stark and his wife Ellen! They come to us from Olathe, Kansas. Prior to that, he was in Hastings so he isn’t completely new to Nebraska. If you haven’t had a chance to meet Joel we invite you to our Sunday morning service at 10:00am or stop by the church office.

Please join us this Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 6:30 pm to hear the founder of Possibilities Africa, Martin Simiyu, speak about the great impact PA is making in Africa, and ways you can join in this great commission from right her in the middle of America! Coffee and dessert will be served.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you . . . plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (NIV). God does have plans for us, but we have free will. Therefore, if we are not following where He leads then His plans will not be fulfilled. Could He make them happen? Yes. But since He is a God of love He has given us a choice to follow or not to follow, God will not force His will upon us. There are also things that happen in this world because of biology (illness), geology (floods, tornadoes, etc.), and evil. We live in a fallen world because of sin. Our God is a loving God full of mercy, grace, and justice. Where is the proof? Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life, He is also the proof.
