Check out the details for our upcoming Vacation Bible School at https://answersvbs.com/vbs/living-faith-fellowship-2016/
Please join us for our Good Friday Service at our church facility, 33rd and I Streets, Kearney, Nebraska, beginning at 7:00 p.m., March 25, 2016. Pastor Greg Madsen of Omaha will be speaking.
Possibilities Africa’s leader, Martin Simiyu spoke to those in attendance at the annual PA Banquet on Thursday, March 4th, at Kearney’s Holiday Inn. Martin’s work encourages individuals, families, and entire communities to re-evaluate their life goals to become self sustaining economically, inspiring the whole person in a transformation few programs can accomplish.
On Sunday the 15th of November we will be hosting our annual “Thanksgiving service and banquet” at the Holiday Inn beginning at 10:30. If you have not signed up already for this special service please do so either Sunday at church at the foyer table or by responding to this e-mail. We will need to know no later than Wednesday the 11th how many adults and children will be in your group so we have enough food ordered. Please feel free to invite friends to this very special service.
We are honored to have Pastor Eldon Buzenitz speaking this year at our Thanksgiving worship/banquet celebration. Eldon is a faithful man of God who along with his wife have served the Lord faithfully in local churches for decades. They have been longtime Pastor/friends of Dale & Carol Hinz and their family. I have known Eldon for quite sometime and have so appreciated his heart for the Lord.
As in past years we will be having a “Thanksgiving Food Drive” for the Crossroads Homeless Shelter. So if you have items of food (you can pick up the list of needs that Crossroads has shared with us in the church foyer) that you would provide please have it there at the Holiday Inn between 10-10:20 AM. We will have men ready to receive these on the north parking lot of the Holiday Inn.
It is a special time of year and we would love to celebrate it with you on the 15th.
Living Faith Attenders participated in a fellowship brunch in the church fellowship hall following worship, February 15, 2015.
